CLINICIAN I OR CLINICIAN II- Mt. Vernon

The Clinician I/II functions as a member of the Intensive Outpatient Program. This service is a home- and community-based mental health, high-intensity treatment service that provides a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach to assessed individuals in the greatest need of these services. Team members work together to provide intensive coordinated and integrated treatment as described in an individual service plan. Services are designed to rehabilitate individuals who are experiencing severe mental illness symptoms in the community; thereby, a main goal is to avoid more restrictive levels of service such as psychiatric inpatient hospitalization or residential placement and facilitate step down to more traditional outpatient services when ready.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a behavioral science-related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices, or interest and ability to learn.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License including vehicle and appropriate insurance..
• Individuals who do not already hold a license or associate license through the Washington State Department of Health must submit Agency Affiliated Counselor application upon hire and be approved by the DOH.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems.
