Title: Cloud Data Platform Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

JD for the Role :

• Cloud data platform support engineer who has good knowledge of Data Warehousing/ETL/BI solutions and Elastic Search.

• Work closely with data engineering team and address needs related to data systems, management and Cloud data platforms.

• Understanding of analytical, data driven approaches towards complex data solutions.

• Translate business/SLA requirements into technical specifications and accordingly help design data platform solutions.

• Ensure appropriate documentation is created for all systems we support.

• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for proactive insight into system issues.

• Develop and maintain compliance policies, security controls, SOX procedure and change management controls.

• Provide off hours support for data platform production issues.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure

• 2+ years of experience managing Elastic search clusters, performance tuning and index tuning.

• Experience with Elastic API Integration.

• 3+ years of experience of designing and building solutions utilizing various cloud services such as ADLS, EC2, S3, AD/Okta, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, API Gateway etc.

• 3+ years of experience in migrating large sets of data from on prem to Cloud environments in an optimal method.

• 3+ years of experience in ETL and data warehousing platforms.

• Experience in working closely with Security and Infrastructure groups to onboard Cloud data solutions for production use.

• Experience in CI/CD automation tooling using Github, Terraform, Jenkins and other related technologies.

• 3+ years of experience in scripting languages such as Python, Shell Scripting etc.

• Knowledge of container platforms such as Docker.

• Adaptable to dynamic technologies, self-starter and always looking out for new developments
