CMM Programmer Job at Pennex Aluminum Company
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for accurate and efficient engineered programming of automated measuring equipment machines..- Precisely measure and program CMM for production.
- Design or assist in the design of standard holding fixtures utilizing 3D Model development.
- Identify excessive cost, develop methods for cost reductions, and implement identified cost reductions.
- Responsible for validation/integrity of automated measuring equipment programs and DNC file system.
- Develops inspection plans, utilizing tool mapping to reduce inspection.
- Support new product launches.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Inspector candidates need to be tested on technical skills.
Education and/or Experience – Minimum of 5 years automated measuring equipment program experience. Prefer Browne & Sharpe/Hexagon, PC DMIS CAD++ experience. Zeiss Calypso or VICI software experience a plus. Hard gauging experience preferred. Must have high school diploma or GED. Experience with WIN SPC software a plus. CQT or CQI certification a plus.
