The CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant and HHA - Home Health Aide is responsible for providing compassionate, quality care to assigned clients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.

Education and Licensure Requirements

• At least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• CNA's must be a graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• HHA's must have certificate and their Palm Beach County Badge
• Must be currently registered/licensed in Florida and maintain an active license/certification in good standing throughout employment.
• One (2) year geriatric experience preferred
• Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Florida driver's license required and auto insurance
• Meet state or provincial health-related requirements, including a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Level II background check will be required

• Assist patients as indicated in service plans
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans by informing the supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches.
• Observe for and report patient problems

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
