CNC LASER TEAM LEAD (Competitive Shift Differential)

2nd & 3rd Shifts | Honey Brook, PA

• Provide leadership as the “Captain” of your team
• Serve as an active member of the Laser Cutting Team
• Collaborate with the floor manager in monitoring production, solving problems, and improving task efficiency

BenCo Technology is seeking a responsible, reliable CNC Laser Team Lead to run our 2nd shift or 3rd shift operation. The Team Lead will be responsible for cutting a wide range of projects for our clients, organizing materials, operating CNC machinery, operating a forklift, helping with machine maintenance, and more.

Our CNC Laser Team Lead Will:

• Support the team with clear communication, motivation, work ethic, and problem-solving
• Take responsibility in helping to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery & morale goals
• Provide training for new and existing teammates
• Look for opportunities for continuous improvements
• Ensure production schedule is on track and project completion dates are met
• Operate various types of CNC and Laser Cutting equipment
• Elevate quality issues by working with Managers to resolve and improve quality concerns
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized by enforcing and aiding in OSHA standards

Our Ideal CNC and Laser Cutting Team Lead:

• Leader: Desire to train and develop others, consistently models accountability, and can guide and lead a team effectively
• Communicative: Able to communicate clearly and effectively with production teams
• Reliable: Has dependable transportation to work, a valid PA Driver’s License, and is willing to work a consistent second shift schedule that may include overtime during the busy months.
• Driven: Desire to learn Laser Cutting processes. Assist the team in hitting production goals. Desire to grow and develop personally and professionally
• Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes, driven to do a great job, and treats teammates with respect
• Experienced: Has basic computer skills. Prior experience as a team lead or supervisor. Forklift experience is a plus
• Active: Enjoys staying active throughout the shift. Able to be on your feet for long periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Safety Focused: Able to follow company and OSHA safety standards
