CNC Laser Operator - $20-22/Hr

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a CNC Operator for our Metal Roll Forming client to start immediately. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

While beginning training to understand and operate CNC laser equipment, employee will assist with setting up tools and equipment to operate CNC laser equipment. He or she must form/cut material as specified by work order and specific blueprints and diagrams and complete the necessary quality inspections of product.

• Assists in setup of machine, tooling, and fixtures.
• Uses beginner’s knowledge of M&G code and makes minor adjustments to meet production goals.
• Uses appropriate measuring tools to assure required quality standards are met.
• Follows all verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation of the CNC laser machine and related equipment as well as any other jobs to which he/she may be assigned.
• Produces quality parts, which include the placement of raw material, assisting in the removal of parts and packing, and cutting parts by hand (where applicable).
• Responsible for successfully completing all training, including STEPS training (JIT, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma, SPC), Basic Computer Skills, Basic Math, Blueprint Reading, and CNC trainee-level courses.
• Uses a working knowledge of Visual Software/Business Systems, Raw Material Tickets, Work-In-Process/Finished Goods/Inventory Tickets, Set-up Charts, Rework/Defective Parts, End of Shift Paperwork, Route Sheets, Understanding of Tool Storage/Staging Operation,
• Responsible for following safety guidelines, handling parts and general housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location: Jeffersonville, IN

Schedule/Shift Details

Training on 1st shift required for new hires

• 3rd shift: 10:00PM-6:30AM Monday-Friday

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all essential functions listed above, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and ability to pass general math test
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment or similar, including machine set-up, metal working, or welding/fabrication.
• Ability to work shift assigned and overtime as needed.
