PeopleShare is seeking a Quoting Specialist AND CNC machinist programmer to join our team!

Responsibilities of a Quoting Specialist:

• Reviewing customer requests for quote (RFQs) to determine feasibility & pricing
• Identifying all materials, tooling needs & methods to manufacture precision machine components & assemblies
• Write & review routers to verify material requirements are documented per customer specifications
• Determine internal manufacturing methods & effectively monitor Advanced Planning Scheduling to fill open capacity
• Perform contract reviews to ensure customer or prospect requirements are understood & can be met
• Communicate with existing customers during the quoting & job execution process

Responsibilities of CNC Programmer:

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
• Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
• Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
• Training new staff on machine operation procedures.

Requirements of Quoting Specialist:

• Five to seven years or more of contract manufacturing experience as a machinist required; including knowledge of CNC machining, raw materials, tooling, & fixturing
• Experience with Global Shop Solutions or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software preferred
• Ability to learn & effectively utilize Advance Planning System (APS) within the ERP System
• Computer skills required (Microsoft Office Products)

Requirements of CNC Programmer:

• Five to seven years or more of CNC Machining experience required
• Contract manufacturing/job shop experience preferred, but not required
• Proficient at CNC programming, set-up, & operation of CNC mill, cam software, wire, sinker and/or lathes
• Well-versed in various types of programming, with the ability to learn other types of programming
• Extensive knowledge of gauges & measuring instruments
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints or drawings & understand geometric dimensioning & tolerance (GD & T)
• Ability to articulate in all forms of communication & excellent critical thinking skills
