For a qualified candidate, this position offers the opportunity for growth and excellent compensation. Applicants should have 4 years of experience in machine operation including machine set up, setting and adjusting controls, blueprint reading, and malfunction and defect oversight. This position is within a manufacturing environment with moderate to high physical activity including routine lifting and pulling up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time and walking long distances. Pre-employment screenings will be required post-offer.

Basic Job Information:

Base Rate is dependent on experience. Overall salary package includes Bi-weekly bonus rate that is based on productivity

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Perform the set-up, operation and adjustments of equipment to produce formed products according to customer dimensional print specifications.
• Complete work orders as instructed and within the setup and run rates outlined on each job.
• Monitor part dimensions and quality using assigned measurement tools and gauges, and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain part quality
• Keep machines oiled and greased and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Complete and submit required daily production reporting forms at the completion of each job.
• Inspect the required number of parts and record the readings in accordance with standard instructions and procedures.
• Work safely.
• Performs daily housekeeping and other miscellaneous functions as assigned by manager.

Required Competencies:

• Basic reading/writing skills.
• Basic understanding of mathematical concepts including fractions and decimals.
• Mechanical ability and knowledge of tools and machinery.
• Ability to lift/pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience: 4 years’ experience as a machine operator or in a related field. Candidates with Cold Header experience will be given priority
