We are looking for a superstar P&C Commercial Account Manager to join a hybrid broker located in Chicago. You would support a book of business of mid-market to large accounts in a specialized vertical. This broker is a respected national brokerage with some of the best people in the nation working on the team. You will be supported, mentored, and guided every step of the way.

You know this already, but as their next Account Manager, you will oversee the client lifecycle as you:

• Serve as the primary, day-to-day contact point for your clients
• Build strong relationships by advocating on behalf of your clients and providing expert guidance
• Prepare your clients with action plans and work through the process before renewals, policy changes, etc.
• Exemplify our brand as you deliver practical solutions, especially during times of challenge
• Understand the client’s coverage as you negotiate with external clients to successfully meet their needs – even before they’re aware of such needs!
• Retain and attract additional clients via your expertise and the resources these new clients require
• Strengthen your relationships with clients, carriers, underwriters, and vendors through clear, consistent communication

Because of the state requirements, an active P&C license is required for this role.
