LOOKING FOR A MOTIVATED, EMPATHETIC INDIVIDUAL WITH STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO WORK WITH INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides individualized care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Helps individuals with activities of daily living.
• Assists individuals with proper maintenance of living area.
• Guides individuals in leisure activities.
• Helps individuals with all chores necessary to maintain as normal a living environment as possible, i.e., laundry and housekeeping.
• Completes service documentation utilizing an online EHR system.
• Participates in establishing new goals for individuals.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Highly motivated to work with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual will be required to document services utilizing an online Electronic Health Records system (with training).
