Community Integration Specialist (Day Program) - Lanham Job at Vesta, Inc.
Vesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders.
We are currently in search of a compassionate individual who has a passion for working with individuals who have been diagnosed with severe mental illness to work in our L anham Region's Day Program (PRP). The position is responsible for the coordination of activities, facilitation of rehabilitation groups, case management, and individual meetings with family and case workers for adult consumers who attend the day program. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to coordinate activities, use a computer to document services, provide skills training, and drive 15 passenger vans daily (valid driver’s license required).
Hours for the position are Monday 8a-4p and Tuesday-Friday 7:30a-4p
Salary ranges from $18.02/hr - $20.18/hr based on experience and education
Qualifications:
Ability to drive a 15 passenger van daily and possess and maintain, throughout employment, a valid driver’s license.
Experience using an eHR to complete daily notes.
Bachelors' Degree or 3 years of experience working with those with mental illness.
Experience providing skills training to clients in either a residential or day program setting.
