The Compliance Administrative Assistant opening is a full-time, non-remote position in Marion, IL. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00a. to 5:00p.


TCT is seeking a Compliance Administrative Assistant to join our team in Marion, IL at our Corporate Headquarters. This is a full-time position and tasks include compiling, analyzing, and reporting data to the FCC to ensure compliance. Candidates must demonstrate organizational abilities, strong communication skills, and acute attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in paralegal or business studies preferred.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and punctual.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to operate a desktop PC in an office setting for up to 8 hours per workday.

SKILLS

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office products and online research/data entry methods.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to analyze, interpret and report network programming information as it pertains to FCC compliance-related functions and regulations.
  • Interact and communicate with external governmental and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date legal and human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Perform periodic audits of files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the VP of Legal and Regulatory Affairs.
