In addition to our more traditional tax-credit development work, we are growing our acquisition pipeline of naturally occurring affordable housing (NOAH) and non-traditional opportunities.


Full Circle is seeking a COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST. This position ensures that the company, HUD, and other funding partners’ compliance regulations, policies, and procedures are followed and that the communities are in overall program compliance. This position also serves as a contact between HUD Contract Administrators and FCC, is a liaison with other governmental agencies, and provides LIHTC and HOME compliance support to multiple affordable communities.


REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Extensive experience in affordable housing compliance required, including:
  • Must have experience with LIHTC compliance, including submission of annual owner certifications and preparation of initial LIHTC resident files
  • Experience with processing HAP vouchers and applying HAP receipts for Section 8 properties
  • Experience analyzing and calculating EIV income discrepancies
  • Substantial experience with Yardi Voyager 7S Affordable Housing Module
  • Experience analyzing data and be able to provide examples
  • Detail-oriented and be able to provide examples
  • Well-developed oral, written, and public speaking skills
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager 7S Affordable Housing Module
  • Experience with auditing files
  • Training experience preferred
  • COS, TCS, BOS, HCCP, and/or RIM certifications preferred


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years’ experience in affordable housing compliance and/or management, Working knowledge of LIHTC program and Section 8 program

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years’ experience in affordable housing compliance and/or management, Bachelor’s degree, LIHTC certification, Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS)


The salary range for this position is $55,000-$60,000. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, IRA, life and supplemental insurance. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.


Full Circle Communities, Inc. currently has ownership/affiliated interests in and/or manages over 1,200 apartment units in Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan. We are located in Chicago, Illinois, in the West Loop near UIC, but due to our growth in Michigan would gladly consider remote employment in the Kalamazoo or Detroit area. Our corporate office functions in a relaxed, business casual environment, with some work-from-home flexibility. COVID vaccination will be mandatory starting in November 2021.
