PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide support in a Subject Matter Expert role to gather & interpret data, troubleshoot problematic equipment, provide support and work with station Supervisors to solve problems, make recommendations, improve system and unit reliability • Interpreting equipment fluid sample and vibration analysis • Complete various projects or assignments as directed • Provide maintenance and operational oversight by managing and scheduling the maintenance work for Midstream EDAD and WDHA compressor stations by using 3rd party contractors • Oversee the repair and maintenance activities both on-shift and off-shift • Perform as the witness supervisor for all annual and 6-month ESD tests for Midstream EDA and WDA compressor stations MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate’s Degree in a technical field or 5 years of equivalent experience in related field • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude, including a working knowledge of engines (4 cycle and 2 cycle), compressors, regulators, hydraulics, understanding station functions and related equipment including HMI and other related controls and instrumentation • Ability to troubleshoot all types of mechanical equipment, auxiliary and ancillary equipment systems • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical manuals • Exceptional analytical, communication, problem solving and organizational skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology is desirable or 8 years of equivalent experience in related field • Prior mechanical/operating experience on various compressor and engine types and electronic/pneumatic instrumentation troubleshooting • Formal training in engine, compressor, and various other systems certifications • Sweden Valley Field Office is the preferred work location, but an alternate work location may be considered, and candidates are encouraged to apply ABOUT NATIONAL FUEL: National Fuel is a diversified energy company headquartered near Buffalo, NY.
