WoodmenLife is looking to add a Computer Operations Analyst to our team!
We are currently searching for a Computer Operations Analyst or Computer Operator that will support WoodmenLife’s production environment by coordinating, scheduling and monitoring processing related activities, identifying, troubleshooting and resolving issues and providing guidance to improve processes. Supports testing efforts by deploying code and running new and existing processes manually or by automated means. WoodmenLife is one of the best places to work in Omaha and has been for many years. What we are looking for:
This job requires a background that demonstrates the following knowledge, skills, talents and traits:
- Five years’ experience as an Operations Technician or Computer Operator in a multi-platform environment with increasing responsibility and general knowledge of various enterprise platforms such as mainframe, Windows and Linux.
- Five years’ experience using enterprise automation and monitoring software. Platforms including mainframe, Windows and Linux.
- A strong understanding of Job Control Language and the ability to write or manipulate jobs to obtain desired results.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in an on-call (24x7) environment.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the work period, annually.
- The ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.
- Engages well with others and are passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with BMC Control-M and related suite of products.
