• Unlock facilities, log event staff hours.
• Work with event coordinator to establish a plan of action, and communicate relevant information to event staff.
• Supervise staff during event.
• Ensure all facilities are prepared for classes scheduled the following day.
• Report to department technician on event.
• Basic operation of light and sound consoles.
• Work with department technician in management of department library.
• Work with department technician in management of department equipment inventor

Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates ability to lift 20+ lbs, bend over, reach overhead, be flexible, and perform regular duties including transporting, setting up, and tearing down equipment.

• Demonstrates strong leadership skills and works well under pressure.
• Demonstrates professionalism, responsibility, and willingness to take charge.
• It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent is currently or was previously employed as Student Set-Up Technician.

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
  

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the annual security report (ASR), . The ASR contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming.
