SUMMARY

Under supervision, operates a clean, safe and organized concession stand, per the guidelines of MBCP&R and the Health Department, while providing excellent customer service and a positive work environment for our employees. This is a part-time position (up to 19 hours per week). Immediate and seasonal positions available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following:

• Accurately take and prepare customer(s) order.
• Ability to prepare food orders as required.
• Maintain and keep a clean work area.
• Maintain inventory and stock items, as necessary; notify Supervisor of low inventory or needs.
• Demonstrate informative and professional assistance when working with vendors, co-workers, and the public.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Have a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Must effectively use the provided Point-Of-Sale system.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must be 15 years of age or older; high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to provide good and effective communication both orally and written; capacity to understand and follow oral and written orders.

MATHMATICAL SKILLS

Knowledge of basic math; ability to handle money with accuracy; handle patronage statistics and prepare accurate reports, as requested, in a timely manner.

• Physical effort is frequently required, such as some standing and walking, light lifting (5-10 pounds); moderate lifting of 20-50 pounds; Stand, walk sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl are moderate functions to expect; ability to work under pressure of time constraints and a changing environment.
• Extended periods of sitting or standing are involved.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Requires ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights and/or weekends.

WORK CONDITIONS

Concession facilities are covered, climate-controlled facilities. Some exposure to heat, rain, cold or wind may be possible.
