Overview:
Beitzel Corporation is now accepting applications for (1) full-time Lead Foreman - Concrete. The Lead Foreman - Concrete will provide physical labor and supervision to a wide range of construction trades through various construction, concrete and industrial projects. This is considered a skilled position that requires construction knowledge and aptitude, along with a basic knowledge of construction trades. Projects may include, but not be limited to the following industries and facilities: Construction, Manufacturing, Power Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Factories, Production Plants, Coal, Solar and Wind Energy, etc. This position will require a flexible schedule with extensive travel and out-of-town work and the willingness to work extended hours to include weekends, holidays, evenings and possible night shift.
The Concrete Foreman will report to the Operations Coordinator/Concrete Services Group Manager and will work primarily out of the Beitzel Corporate location. Areas of operations include, but are not limited to: MD, MI, MS, OH, PA, WV, and VA.

This individual will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of industrial construction and must be proficient with the products and services offered by Beitzel Corporation and must be flexible and willing to work extended hours as needed.
The Concrete Foreman will report to the Operations Coordinator/Concrete Services Group Manager and will work primarily out of the Beitzel Corporate location. Areas of operations include, but are not limited to: MD, MI, MS, OH, PA, WV, and VA.

- Communicating equipment and supply needs to the Laborers as well as the Operations Managers
- Prepare T&M tickets, receipts, and other paper work as required by the job
- Provide physical labor and general labor to concrete trades and to various construction and industrial projects
- Perform concrete pours and finishes, build and prepare forms, rebar, masonry, block laying, pipefitting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching and general labor as required
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Provide detailed paperwork, and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing and inventory
- Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles in a professional and workman-like manner
- Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures
- Provide support and supervision for Concrete Services employees
- In addition, may perform all duties of General Laborer, Skilled Laborer, Carpenter, and possibly Electrician
- Provide troubleshooting to follow a problem to the source and solve the issue
- Aid other field personnel as needed
- Be willing to work on the off hitch and demonstrate commitment to the job

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- A minimum of (3-5) years of Industrial Construction experience or equivalent/relevant education and experience preferred
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Industrial Concrete Services is preferred
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately. Practical knowledge of office procedures and customer relations
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Skill in dealing with the public in a manner which will facilitate any constructive problem solving possible
- Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations. Ability to meet deadlines
Working Conditions
- Walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach and lift; climb ladders and stairs; crawl; kneel
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds unassisted
- Must be safety and customer-focused, without exception
- Required safety equipment: Steel toe and/or metatarsal boots, protective eye wear, gloves, hard hat, and hearing protection
