We are currently seeking a Configuration Analyst to join our dynamic, collaborative, and innovative team. A Configuration Analyst is part of our Business Analytics roles at Daktronics and typically is a power user of Excel including VBA coding, data validation, automation as well as provide aid in the areas of process improvements, pricing, testing, training, analysis, or support.
What would I do?
A Configuration Analyst in our team typically focuses on a variety of responsibilities that support our tools and systems.
- Design, implement, test, and provide ongoing maintenance and support of tools and systems for product pricing, quoting, and order configurations.
- Convert requirements into configuration tools and analyze product design to determine effects of proposed changes.
- Lead user testing sessions, capture feedback, and implement changes.
- Isolate and resolve advanced technical issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing time and cost estimates and identify necessary tools for completing projects.
- Identify strategies that will make our processes more effective. Find similarities across the company that can be standardized and automated. Drive process improvements in all our systems and processes.
- Complete product launch activities for product and service releases.
- Provide daily support and consultation as needed for internal customers.
- Actively engage in tier meetings and work closely with other Business Analyst roles to assist with leveraging knowledge used in this role.
Where will I be working?
Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a U.S. home or Daktronics location. This opportunity is open to U.S. based candidates. Exact working hours are flexible, but this position will be based on working during regular business hours in the Central time zone.
Qualifications:
What do I need to be qualified?
A Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, technology, or a related field is required. You will also need demonstrated experience in the areas listed below:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Innovating through tools and technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset when dealing with ambiguity.
- Highly detail oriented, well organized, energetic, motivated, service-oriented, and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently or collaboratively on a team.
- Continued willingness and desire to learn and find solutions to challenges.
- Flexible and adapt to dynamic environments with evolving workload and new challenges.
- Commitment to following policies and procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
- Daktronics product knowledge and experience in engineering process, project manager, and information technologies are a strong plus.
- Demonstrated process flow understanding and experience in root cause analysis, along with lean problem-solving tools.
- Ability and willingness to learn new software and techniques quickly, be flexible and adapt to dynamic environments and evolving workload.
- Excel super user with VBA coding knowledge a strong plus.
- Java Script code writing experience a plus.
- Effective communication and documentation skills while working with various teams. Fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements, which includes following safety protocols related to COVID-19.
