We are looking for an efficient project manager to contribute and support the planning and execution of projects. The assistant project manager will work closely with the general manager and assist in monitoring project progress, following up with various construction related tasks and on the completion or delay of project phases, scheduling meetings and work assignments, and maintaining project documents and reports.

To be successful as an assistant project manager you should be able to perform any tasks assigned by the general manager in an efficient and timely manner. An outstanding assistant project manager should be able to maintain oversight of all project activities, identify any issues, and ensure these are resolved promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with multiple departments internally and externally regarding project needs and goals.
  • Contributing to the planning and development of projects.
  • Supporting the coordination and management of projects.
  • Researching information as required.
  • Performing administrative tasks.
  • Keeping track of and reporting on project progress.
  • Completing any tasks assigned by the General Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Coordinate and schedule multiple project details.
  • Track production

Requirements:

  • Telecommunication Construction Management experience preferred
  • Degree in business management or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in project management or a similar role.
  • Technologically savvy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wallington, NJ 07057: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Project management: 2 years (Preferred)
