SCOPE/CONTACTS:
Incumbent has frequent contact with a variety of customers. Contact is face‑to‑face, by telephone and written communication. This position reports to the Senior Vice President – Regional Consumer Lending Manager and may receive guidance from the Loan Committee and daily work with other officers and staff to meet customers’ needs and provide a profit for Bank.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Making all types of direct and indirect loans which are consistent in quality to satisfy Bank standards for safety and profitability;
  • Promoting good customer relations;
  • Seeking and developing quality new business including profitable depository accounts.
  • Incumbent is responsible for the sound extension or denial of credit to customers seeking loans on a direct or indirect basis and is accountable for the terms extended on such credit.
  • This position is guided by the Bank's policies, procedures and lending limits.
  • Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Accounting, Business, or finance degree required.
  • Four years of related banking experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Excellent communication and human relation skills also required.
  • Bank lending experience preferred.
  • Thorough working knowledge and use of credit analysis and loan documentation, bank operations, and business development skills as normally acquired through at least four years related experience preferred.
