Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.


We are looking for a Controller to oversee our accounting staff and financial operations. This role will report to the CFO and be responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating of all accounting functions.


This role will primarily be based remotely, but the ideal candidate will be in reasonable traveling distance to Boston, MA, Miami, FL, Cincinnati, OH, or Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities Include::
  • Manage accounting team including general ledger and fixed asset accounting, accounts payable and related disbursements, bank account activity and related reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Works with the VP Revenue Cycle Management to ensure proper accounting, recording, and reporting of accounts receivable and related revenue and other accounts
  • Hire, train, and manage accounting staff.
  • Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and related reporting.
  • Reconcile all balance sheets accounts.
  • Ensure all income, property and other taxes are paid timely and/or accrued, and work with the external tax advisors and the CFO to ensure required tax returns are filed timely.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close.
  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Work with the CFO to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements as they relate to accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
  • Manage company credit cards, vehicle gas cards and Enterprise leased vehicle activity.
  • Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and provide needed information and coordination for all outside audit activity (insurance, etc.), including the annual financial audit.
  • with the Director of Financial Planning to produce and review financial statements and other internal and external reports and analysis of company accounts and activity.
  • Oversee the development of accounting and financial reporting processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal personnel and departments to achieve common goals.
  • Communicate issues and concerns to CFO.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications::
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business-related degree required.
  • 8-10 years of related finance experience required; previous healthcare finance experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience using accounting software required.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
