Twin Vee PowerCats, a publicly traded NASDAQ company, has been building the best riding boats on the water for over 28 years and we are looking for an experienced Controller-Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting operations and will play a key role in the company's financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a related position and a passion for driving the company's financial success.

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), general ledger (G/L), inventory/cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Analyze variances and provide explanations to management along with recommended actions.
• Prepare forecasts of income, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows.
• Work closely with all levels of the company to achieve financial objectives.
• Provide proactive consultation to various department leaders to help them make informed business decisions.
• Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting, financial statement analysis, and cost accounting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other financial regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
• Manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines and maintain a strong attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong relationships with coworkers.
• Continuously strive for personal and professional growth, with an aspiration to become the CFO of the company.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a related position, with a strong track record of success.
• Excellent knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial statement analysis.
• Experience with MS Office and SAP financial software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
