Corporate Controller Job at Vale Group
Vale Group has partnered with a company in the Hospitality industry, based in Miami, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Corporate Controller to work fully on-site for a salary range between $100-130K base, based on experience. The ideal candidate must be proficient with consolidations, creating and improving policies and procedures, and preparing financial statements, with experience managing a team of 5-10 being preferred.

Requirements of the Corporate Controller:
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license is highly preferred
- Proven track record in creating SOPs and process improvement
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- External or internal audit exp required.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Experience in travel & leisure is preferred
Responsibilities of the Corporate Controller:
- Oversee and lead the accounting team in all financial reporting activities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze, create and optimize SOPs
- Project management with a concentration in process improvement
- Complete oversight of corporate financials
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies and procedures
- Partner with other departments to provide financial analysis and support
- Audit preparedness and collaborate with external audit firm PWC
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
- Support as needed with ad-hoc projects and reporting
