COTTMAN TRANSMISSION AND TOTAL AUTO CARE Norfolk, VA 23502
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Remove and Install automatic transmissions and complete other automotive repair to high level of quality and minimal comebacks. Inspect, diagnose and repair all vehicles foreign and domestic. To have full knowledge of usage of scanners to diagnose and troubleshoot.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Work with shop management to improve productivity, quality, and service in the facility.
- Maintain an organized work area and positively contribute to a team-based work environment.
- Must participate in Cottman training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience: 2 years Transmission R & R Mechanical experience. Must have a strong track record with minimal failures in the field.
Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge & experience in all Makes and Models.
Special Requirements: Must own tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
