Title: Contracted Personnel Security Officer (CPSO)
Location: Nellis AFB, NV
Clearance : Active TS/SCI

Required:
  • Strong working knowledge of Defense Information Security System (DISS)
  • 3 Years' experience working in USAF environment as active duty, guard, reserve, civilian or in a contractor position
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial security program
  • Strong working knowledge of SCIF operations
  • Strong working knowledge of access control
  • Strong working knowledge of personnel security requirements
Desired:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous PKI access and utilization of DISS
  • 2 Years active duty, reserve or guard service
  • Experience in secure, controlled environments with an understanding of access control
Responsibilities:
  • Works under the supervision of the U.S. AF Weapons School Lead CPSO.
  • Develops unit level program requirements identical to established standard operating procedures provided by the U.S. AF Weapons School Lead CPSO.
  • Plans, organizes and directs activities of the collateral security program at the Squadron or Wing Level.
  • Reviews, analyze and resolve difficult and complex problems related to secure systems, policies and procedures for unit vaults and work areas.
  • With government supervisor approval, establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of special access functions.
  • Evaluates compliance of vault/SCIF activities with security requirements, identify deficiencies and analyze major problems and mission vulnerabilities.
  • May manage the personnel security program for the unit.
