Job Summary: Provide nursing services to identified clients of the agency. Work directly with consumers to facilitate medication compliance, administer medication as needed and provide educational services to consumers.
Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing and basic ability to use computer hardware/software to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Job Responsibilities: Implement Doctor and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner's order as required; deliver direct nursing services to individuals; maintain continuous medical clinic for CSU during assigned shift; consult with staff psychiatric nurse practitioner about individual's progress; providing documentation of all nursing services provided during assigned shift; disposing of biohazard material; monitoring of medication supplies, including stocking and organizing; and other duties as assigned by supervisor
