Strong physician/CRNA relationships are built here. Middlebrook Surgery Center offers convenient access to services for residents of nearby nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and neighborhoods. The surgery center is designed and built with the patient experience in mind.
Our practice is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at Parkwest Medical Center, Ft. Sanders Medical Center as well as the Tennova Health Systems. Collectively, we provide services at five tertiary hospitals and seven ambulatory surgery centers, all of which are located in close proximity. Experienced providers, as well as new graduates, are welcome to apply.

Case Assignments
General surgery, GI, cardiac, eye cases and only simple pediatric cases. Surgeries performed will include ear/nose/throat, facial plastics, colorectal, gastro-intestinal endoscopy and gynecologic.

With the opening of Middlebrook Surgery Center, Tennova Health Park now has three clinical facilities onsite. The Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital offers rehabilitation for patients who suffer from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, multiple trauma, amputation and other injuries or disorders. The Knoxville Center for Behavior Medicine provides a continuum of care for adults and geriatric patients with psychiatric, emotional, and addictive disorders; partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are offered with individualized treatment plans based on clinical need.

Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
