Location: INOVA Fairfax Hospital
Shift: 3:45 pm to 7:45 pm Monday to Friday and 6:00 am to 8:00 am Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures awareness of actions and objects within the specified area.
- Maintains appearance appropriate for providing best-in-class customer service in accordance with established guidelines.
- Keeps the traffic flow moving to avoid traffic delays, directing traffic as needed.
- Monitors the pedestrian traffic on either side of the road.
- Assists in maintaining location and individual work area appearance according to facility standards.
- Knows and follows safety rules relative to area(s) of responsibility.
- Uses two-way radio to request assistance and information when necessary.
- Provides information and directions to people in the area.
- Maintains safe, clean, and neat work environments by following standards and procedures.
- Maintains strict confidentiality related to work information (in accordance with HIPAA).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk, see, and hear.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to push and pull (in wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds, frequently over considerable distance.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours is sometimes required.
Experience
Required- 2 year(s): Related Experience
Education
Preferred- High School or better
