CT Technologist PRN Job at Cook Children's Medical Center Prosper
The CT Technologist is accountable for performing quality CT/Diagnostic Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. The CT Technologist is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.
Education and Qualifications
- Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology
- 2-3 year’s pediatric CT experience preferred
- Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross-sectional anatomy
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress Must be AART registered
- Must be AART (CT) registered, or obtain registry within 18 months of hire
- Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
- AHA Certified
