MUST HAVE A CUSTOMS BROKER LICENSE AND AT LEAST 5 YEARS Management EXPERIENCE
This individual will serve as the licensed individual to qualify the Lineage Customs Brokerage (LCB) National Permit and will fulfill the responsible supervision and control responsibilities for LCB operations as defined under the Customs Import Regulations 19 CFR 111. This position will also qualify the Lineage Customs Brokerage corporate license.
This position oversees all aspects of U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and partner government agency (PGA) import activities within LCB, and related Lineage subsidiaries, as required. The person hired into this position will be responsible for overseeing CBP compliance for LCB brokerage operations, be the primary POC for CBP, and assist import clients with import compliance matters in daily brokerage operations. They must possess and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with large operational teams.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform CBP responsible supervision and control functions required by the LCB National Permit
• Ensure that LCB meets requirements for CBP brokerage compliance in daily operations
• Develop internal LCB controls and workflow processes, including the performance of quarterly reviews, to ensure compliance standards are met
• Control the LCB ACE Portal account and act as the CBP POC for LCB's recordkeeping and business contact responsibilities
• Identify and address PGA requirements for imported products
• Perform analysis and keep current on HTS assignment of products, country of origin determinations, ADD/CVD/Section 301 duty assessments, and valuation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other Lineage Logistics entities to assist with Customs business (i. e., bonded warehouses and bonded carriers, Customs bonds) as required
• Perform new client on-boarding (Customs POA, HTS/PGA review of products, CF5106, bond)
• Communicate with importer clients on CBP compliance and PGA requirements
• Manage all LCB post-entry activities (protests, PSC's) and monitor ACE Portal LCB reports (CF28, CF29, Liquidations)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Customs House Brokerage License Required
• 10 years of experience in the industry and at least 5 in Management / Leadership roles
• A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player

Salary Range: $58k - $88k.
