Customer Service Representative, eCommerce: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
The eCommerce Customer Service Representative empowers our consumers to live active lifestyles by sharing product knowledge, providing superior customer support and processing customer orders. The Representative works with multiple channels including inbound calls, live chat, text messaging and email correspondence.

How You Will Make a Difference
  • Support customers through a variety of mediums, including phone calls, email, live chat, and social media.
  • Greet customers with a professional and positive tone, while building rapport.
  • Establish customer needs by asking open ended questions, active listening and conveying empathy.
  • Link product benefits to customer’s needs by researching, providing product information, and recommending a solution.
  • Process product orders and provide prompt and efficient response and resolution to all customers’ requests.
  • Analyze, review and process customers’ requests for return authorization and credits.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers to provide on-going information flow as it relates to sales, promotions and problems to ensure accurate billings and shipments.

Performance and attendance is reviewed after six months of service, at which time you may be eligible for a promotion.
**This position is working on VF Corporation’s Hybrid Model, and requires working in the Appleton, WI office two days per week.

Skills for Success
Years of Related Professional Experience: One year of experience preferred.
Educational/ Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to Learn: Learns quickly, experiments to find new solutions and extracts lessons learned from failures and mistakes.
  • Communicates Effectively: Is effective in a variety of communication settings while listening attentively.
  • Customer Service Oriented: Gains insight into customer needs and identifies opportunities that benefit the customer. Builds and delivers solutions that meet customer expectations and establishes and maintains effective customer relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task and provides information in a useable form and on a timely basis to others who need to act on it.
