Job Summary

Under supervision, the CCM Specialist will be responsible for analysis, design, development, testing & implementation of analytical reporting and document solutions for United Heritage Financial Group and its subsidiaries. In addition, the CCM Specialist will be engaging in various tasks such as basic requirements-gathering and must be able to provide effective reporting solutions for presented issues. This role will involve daily communications with both technical & non-technical associates; therefore, a diverse range of communication styles must be present in the candidate’s repertoire of skills.


Primary Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Gather & assess the needs of users & business units in the context of corporate objectives and understand how to align report development accordingly.
  • Create documents, reports, and queries to extract and present information by using SQL or other languages along with various programming and coding techniques.
  • Review queries and independently performance tune and debug where necessary.
  • Understand the methodologies & technologies associated with the flow of data through the major applications used within the United Heritage’s various operating divisions.
  • Participate in development and implementation of various best practices for the daily operations of the IT team including procedures for requirements-gathering,
    report development and demand management.
  • Required to produce written documentation and on occasion provide training for the developed solution.
  • Provide daily support for existing reporting environments

Additional Responsibilities

  • Acquire an understanding of United Heritage’s business processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a Two-Year accredited University, College, or technical school in a computer related field; and five years or more in a related corporate work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Exstream.
  • This is an experienced position with full technical capability for designing intelligent reports and documents.
  • Requires knowledge of SQL language and relational database design standards.
  • Ability to design and create professional quality reports, documents, or presentation mechanisms, using reporting development tools, such as: Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, or database specific business reporting and dashboard tools.
  • Ability to quickly create adhoc reports and data presentations using various database reporting tools.
  • Familiar with various commercially available software packages that perform tasks such as: word processing, spreadsheets, email, web browsing, and relational database systems.
  • Solid understanding of the internet and ability to use it to research and find solutions to system development challenges.
  • Must be able to communicate with users, management and IT staff members regarding document design, goals, and deadlines.
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of the SQL database query language.
  • Advance document design, layout and embedded logic skills required to create specialty documents or reports utilizing advance tools such as Crystal Reports, and HP Exstream.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, debug, diagnose, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Displays a good-natured, cooperative attitude, willingness to get the job done, and is pleasant, compassionate, and considerate with others on the job.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office environment. May sit for long periods of time. Other physical activities include talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual activity requirements may include color, depth perception, and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, additional physical and intellectual activities include ability to operate a personal computer using both a keyboard and a pointing device, such as a mouse, required to conduct extensive reading. Work requires extensive reading, research and decision making.
