THE ROLE
Avocado is currently looking for a Customer Experience Associate I to be part of the Customer Experience team!
A Customer Experience Associate (CXA) will be responsible for cultivating meaningful relationships in pursuit of providing the world-class customer experience that has personified Avocado Green Brands. This role will act as a relationship-builder who delivers empathetic, detail-oriented solutions to our customers. The primary function will be telephone support along with responding to customer emails and chats. As our frontline, all CXA’s are trained and positioned for optimal employee effectiveness.

  • Note on Location:_ Here at Avocado Green Brands, we treasure teamwork and working together in person. Depending on the role, you will be working on-site in our Fullerton headquarters._
  • Note on Pay Transparency:_ As of January 1, 2023, California-based roles must provide a pay scale on job postings. The pay range for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly._

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

  • Delivering exceptional service and developing lasting relationships with customers via Avocado Green Brands channels for communication - phone, emails, and live chats.
  • Serving as a proud brand ambassador of Avocado Green Brands and constantly championing our core values to inspire positive social and environmental change.
  • Maintain knowledge of all Avocado Green Brands products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with the utmost care and respect by listening to their problems and offering creative resolutions.
  • Consistently deliver personalized service while meeting quality and productivity goals.
  • Share customer feedback and information with other team members and leaders in order to continuously improve and evolve the customer experience.
  • Contribute to an empathetic, positive and energetic team culture.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Customer Service in a high volume call center environment.
  • College degree is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of productivity software, Intercom, and Shopify is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of MacOS operating system.
  • Detail oriented able to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, phone skills along with active listening
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Empathy, warmth, humility, and a sense of humor
  • A happy, positive attitude that empowers you to assist our customers every day
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week - can include days, evenings and weekends are a requirment.
