The Customer Service Coordinator strives to consistently provide knowledgeable, efficient, and excellent customer service in a courteous and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the Customer Services Management Team with escalated issues and develop resolutions to trends that adversely impact the overall department.
  • Assist and educate customers regarding Hill Physician Medical Group’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers by responding to inquiries and identifying/resolving issues regarding eligibility, benefits, claims, and authorizations; this includes triaging/routing appropriately and using multiple systems to locate information and document interactions.
  • Adhere to the Customer Service Attendance Policy.
  • Abide by HIPAA regulations.
  • Adhere to the company safety regulations.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of Customer Service call center experience required
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Experience with handling medical claims and eligibility inquiries
  • Knowledge of various insurance types e.g. PPO, HMO, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
