Customer Service Representative needed for Insurance Company - Tigard, OR.

Job Description:

  • Take incoming calls from customers to service existing accounts
  • Servicing accounts and upselling services
  • Most of calls will be from current customers to update their policy (phone number, adding a car, moving and need new policy) and then get inbound calls from customers wanting quotes or wanting to sign up with the client
  • Will try to get referrals around life insurance policies, adding on more coverage (i.e. if they bundle they save more)
  • Ability to problem solve and use time efficiently in order to multi-task and prioritize work

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

  • High School or GED
  • Seeking 1-3 years of Customer Service or Sales experience (i.e. retail, restaurant, call center, etc.)
  • Looking for someone who is hungry to learn, willing to jump in, and wants to be apart of a growing team
  • Seeking someone who wants to grow within the company
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Previous insurance background is a plus, but not required
