Customer Service Representative Job at Career Connections, Inc
Position Summary:
Customer service representative needed for an insurance agency in The Plains, Ohio. Primary responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing a calendar, organizing files, data entry, assisting customers/subscribers, and assisting the agent in the office with other tasks as needed. The expectation is for the customer service representative to evolve into a sales representative role after training and a licensure is obtained. This person must employ creative networking and sales strategies to generate leads that convert prospective clients into new clients – an established personal network is strongly preferred as this will establish the foundation for success for a new hire.
This is a temporary-to-direct, part-time position starting in January 2023. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. This position could be an opportunity for a hybrid schedule if hired on directly after 90 days. The pay rate for this position is $12.50/hour.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to become licensed in Personal and Commercial Lines following a training period.
- An associate degree is required.
- Detail-oriented, organized, customer service and entrepreneurial minded.
- Comfortable with computers, proficient with Microsoft programs.
