Position: Customer Care Associate
Location: Washington, DC
The Customer Care Associate is responsible for performing a variety of functions within the Customer Care Branch. Handle customer inquiries received by telephone or from walk-ins. Provide information and assistance to customers who present broad range of complex issues and concerns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to provide sufficient information to resolve substantive issues and problems involving compiling, reconciling, and correlating data from various sources
- Exhibit positive action in making final determinations on customer inquiry and/or problem
- Receives customers in the Business Office and satellite locations and provides advisory services in relation to payment issues
- Reviews the customers total situation in order to establish payment plans, accept request for investigations and accept payments for service restoration
- Prepare adjustments on account and submit for approval
- Process requests for final bills
- Compose clear and concise correspondence
- Prepare various report
Skills, Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Ability to handle complex problems and issues independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Substantive knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques
- Strong computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
