What you do
- Monitor and respond to Cybersecurity systems alerts
- Assist with analysis and triage of Cybersecurity threats
- Categorize incidents and follow corresponding escalation procedures
- Document, communicate and report cyber security events
- Research threats, vulnerabilities, exploits, and other relevant threat information
- Participate in implementation of ongoing management of security programs and information security tools
- Assist with troubleshooting, upgrading, enhancing information security tools.
- 2 or more years of experience related to Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and/or Risk Management required
- Degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Cyber Incident Responder experience desired
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) desired
- Understanding of Cyber Incident Response processes and concepts desired
- Previous experience with or understanding of common computing attack vectors and computer systems vulnerabilities desired
- Cybersecurity publications (e.g., NIST 800-53) familiarity desired
- Familiarity with Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks desired
- Understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems, Computer Networking, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR technologies desired
