Arthur Murray has transcended dancing since 1912. Arthur Murray, our founder, believed that EVERYONE can learn to dance. Through the years, dance has become popular not only through movies, but recently with TV show such as “Dancing with the Stars,” “So you think you can Dance,” and “America’s got Talent.” Not to mention social media and You Tube.
Today, our company continues to grow and modernize the art of social dancing - From the Foxtrot and Waltz, Rock n Roll swing, 1970s disco hustle, country dancing, the passionate Tango, and to the recent trend of Latin dances such as salsa, bachata, and merengue. Well over a century later, we continue his tradition of innovative dance teaching.
We value integrity over experience. Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Solana Beach and Rancho Bernardo are currently looking for full time dance instructors. Our scholarship program and in-person on-job paid training will teach you the skills necessary to dance – no experience necessary. Training rate is $20/hour.
Job Qualifications:
- Dance experience (preferred), but NOT required
- A willingness to learn a variety of different dance styles
- Interpersonal Communication / People Skills
- Transportation
- Fun, Outgoing, Energetic
- Flexible schedule and availability
