Data Analytics Analyst
SUMMARY:
The Data Analytics Analyst will be responsible for the researching, developing, and implementing data and analytics solutions across the organization under the general supervision of the IT Applications Director. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and understanding data, the data lifecycle, flow of data between systems, how it is utilized and stored. This is a hybrid position upon completing training and onboarding successfully. This position is based out of Warwick, Rhode Island.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data and to understand organizational needs, outcomes and improve efficiency
  • Define and implement a plan to reengineer existing reports and diverse data sets
  • Manipulate data and draw business insights
  • Create documentation related to data, reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate with vendors, managers, end users and business analysts to gather user requirements for reports and analytics
  • Facilitate development and implementation of data quality standards
  • Translate complex technical concepts and data analysis results to stakeholders
  • Evaluate new and existing technologies and recommend improvements and/or efficiencies
  • Assist in efforts to ensure data is protected and ensure the integrity of data assets
  • Assist with quality control measures and system alerts to ensure all data transactions reach the appropriate end points
  • Resolves issues, and implements strategies to address reoccurrences
  • Standardize data management tools
  • Understanding and familiarity with government regulations (e.g. HIPAA, Clinical Decision Support) (Preferred)
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS or BA in Computer Science/Information Systems
  • 5+ years of equivalent work experience
  • SQL Knowledge (Preferred)
  • Analytical Experience
  • Troubleshooting Skills
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Skills
  • Experience with Data Warehousing Systems
  • Ancillary systems experience such as PACS or Voice Recognition Software (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Systems
