  • Individual needs to be located within 1 hour of Columbus, OH metro area
  • Performing startup and commissioning on location
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients and other contractors on site.
  • Collaborate with other contractors to ensure all equipment is installed accurately
  • Capture operational readings of equipment
  • Determine root cause analysis of equipment failure
  • Perform limited maintenance tasks
  • Assist project management team with documentation of commissioning and troubleshooting findings.
  • Works within project teams to develop the scope of data center project including defining needs and requirements
  • Promote the Interstates safety culture daily
  • Available for after-hours support
  • Other duties may be assigned

Education:

  • Associate degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical school
  • Or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Relevant electrical and/or mechanical experience in a Data Center or Industrial Environment
  • Programming/troubleshooting skills done remotely
  • Strong interpersonal/verbal/written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking in front of clients, peers, and managers
  • Able to track, prioritize work and coordinate projects successfully

Travel:

This position is located in Columbus, OH. Travel will be required to work at customer Data Center sites. The amount of travel will vary according to business requirements. Travel could be 10% to 15%.
