As part of eHealth’s transformation, we are seeking a Data Engineer/Marketing Solutions Developer who can solve complex technical challenges using multiple data systems in an innovative, team-oriented environment. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Technologies & Operations, this person will have expertise in programming languages, databases, and web technologies. This is a hands-on development role which translates business requirements from our marketers into data pipelines which optimize customer-facing campaigns. This individual will support the maintenance and advancement of the existing Marketing Technology infrastructure as well as the assessment and implementation of new technologies, and will have a passion for building an exceptional team culture.
This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that data collection and data transfer across the Marketing Technology ecosystem supports the organization’s needs
- Assist with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and datasets
- Extract, transform and load data from the various sources
- Work closely with various teams to understand business requirements and write specifications/documentation for marketing automation
- Actively monitor live integrations to ensure timely data flow between systems and to identify, report, and troubleshoot any issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar fields or equivalent education/experience
- 4+ years of experience in marketing technology/operations
- 4+ years professional experience with Python and SQL and ETL tools.
- Experience with data access, transfer, API tools and formats
- Hands-on experience with marketing platform APIs such as Marketo and Google Ads
- Working knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Snowflake)
