Job Details for Data Entry Clerk:

  • Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Mon-Fri
  • Pay Rate: $17.50-$18.50/hour

Job Responsibilities & Description for Data Entry Clerk:

  • Communicate with insurance payers to ensure claims made it on file and/or get additional information on why the claims are not on file or got rejected
  • Partner with clinics teammates such as Insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators to ensure timely and accurate data entry
  • Help identify process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements
  • Submit adjustments for claims after collection efforts have been exhausted
  • Maintain current patient account information at all times

Job Requirements for Data Entry Clerk:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree, highly preferred.
  • Ability to research and problem solve, using analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, and Outlook
