The Data Entry Clerk/Recipionest receives incoming diet orders and inputs them into our sytem for acurrate order and filing. This position works with our Client Intake and Medical Billing team. This role will include speaking with clients or caregivers to obtain diet orders as well as accurately inputing the order for billing purposes.

Experience/Knowledge:

• Minimum education of Associate degree, preferred
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, required
• Previous Data Entry skills, required
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to problem solve issues in a timely manner
• Must be detailed oriented, extremely organized, able to simultaneously work on numerous efforts and demonstrate incredible persistence and determination when dealing with complicated and difficult scenarios with insurance payers.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adjust as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively in both a team and individual environment
• Sincerity and passion for helping people
• Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values

Core Tasks/Duties:

• Support the mission and vision of the company
• Be passionate about dietetics, nutrition, and helping others
• Review incoming diet order paperwork to create new clients, update existing clients, and close accounts as needed
• Correspond with Agency Case Managers and Care Managers via email, State Portal Messaging, and phone calls for action items or needed information
• Troubleshoot and resolve account issues as required
• Coordinate with internal partners including but not limited to Logistics, Customer Care, Billing, and Compliance
• Assist other departments with Intake-related inquiries
• Manage email and collect and review referrals and pre-authorizations
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
• Stay current with the most recent health-related and industry trends as well as health-care policy

Working Conditions (may adjust as indicated by COVID-19 state regulations):

• This position will report to our main office in Hackettstown, NJ -- it is not remote.
• A typical work week will include Monday-Friday. This may include a shift in schedule due to holidays and/or extended hours as business dictates or as needed
• Wears protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or governmental regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
