Data Technician (Full- or Part-Time) Job at Thasos Group
The Role:
The Data Technician role is an entry-level position suitable for someone looking to break into the startup/big data world and gain experience working with top tier data scientists and software engineers, helping clean and manage the data used in our models.
Data Technicians are responsible for building and maintaining our database of over 1 million points of interest where we track foot traffic trends for our clients. Duties include researching property lists, drawing polygons around specific property locations, cleaning meta data, and answering queries on specific properties/ companies we cover. Opportunities to code and build tools to assist with efficiency are available.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive in improving existing methods/tools
- Responsible and reliable
Technical Skills (highly preferred but not required):
- Python, JavaScript, HTML
- Pandas, PostgreSQL
- Web scraping
