Job Description:
Sagitec sells custom made software to government agencies. Our technology and approach to projects is innovative, ever changing and fast paced. The same can be said for the database team at Sagitec. While we're bound contractually to provide certain services and deliverables in specific ways, we're always looking for how to be better, do better, and provide more within the constraints of the box. We are seeking a full-time, mid to high level Database Developer to work as a consultant on client projects. This is a position within a team dedicated to Database Developing.
Responsibilities:

Lead data developers to develop, test and execute data conversion procedures and processes.

Understand the pension system and legacy data and provide data analysis on legacy client databases.

Document the data mapping, processes, programs, and solutions as per established standards.

Identify SQL performance issues and provide corrective measures.
-
Learn and understand Sagitec data practices and learn retirement benefit system.
-
Develop, test, and execute data conversion procedures and processes.
-
Train data developers for data conversion and data models.
-
Lead Sagitec clients for data conversion plan, procedure, and plans.
-
String consulting, customer, and ownership orientation.
-
Administer MS SQL databases and servers.
-
Must be able to travel 40% of the time.

Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
Qualifications:
-
Five or more years of experience in IT.
-
Two or more years of leadership experience.
-
Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
-
Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.

Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 and later (5+ years).
-
Proficient in T-SQL, ANSI SQL, stored procedures, functions, scripts, and triggers with extensive use of T-SQL programming. (5+ years)

Proficient in data conversion and migration (also known as ETL Extract, Transform and Load) procedures and processes. (5+ years)

Experience with data models and can learn the data models and data quickly. (5+ years)

Experience with data analysis, data profiling, data troubleshooting and data reconciliation. (5+ Years)
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with retirement benefit system and any other benefit systems.

U.S. Citizen or permanent resident location: Denver.
-
Must be authorized to work for any employer in USA.

Exposure to legacy databases such as ISAM, ADABAS, AS400, DB2 etc., and related technologies.

Experience with PL-SQL and Oracle databases.
-
Experience with Azure.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience and/or training.
