Summary:

The Demand Planner is responsible for participation in the monthly S&OP process, running the forecasting model, and working with the commercial team to drive accuracy through the demand plan. The Demand Planner is also responsible for modeling and forecast production requirements by family by asset through sites, and making suggestions for network level loading.


This individual must ensure compliance to all health and safety policies, rules and regulations and universal housekeeping standards. He or she is expected to meet or exceed production, efficiency and quality requirements at all times.


This position will be supporting both the KIT and BVL sites. This role will involve remote work, but the incumbent will need to be able to report to work at one of the sites as required. Successful candidate will need to be within driving area of one of our locations in either Kitchener, ON- Canada, Baldwinsville, NY, Greensboro, NC

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and implementing system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business development
  • Analyzing statistical models for forecasting
  • Driving, promoting, and developing communication with sales to improve forecasting accuracy
  • Completing consensus calls
  • Working with Operations site leadership to ensure operational metrics are embedded into load vs capacity analysis
  • Responsible for forecasting metrics MAPE, Bias & Forecast Value Add
  • Participating in frequent safety discussions within the company
  • Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • College diploma in Supply Chains Operations Management or Business
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
