Dental Hygienist Job at Samuel Staffing
We are a large Health Company in the heart of Chicago, IL and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, a strong commitment to continuing education, and a desire to grow with our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease
- Remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth and educate patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques
- Take and develop X-rays and assist the dentist in making diagnostic evaluations
- Administer local anesthetics, fluoride treatments, and periodontal dressings
- Evaluate the overall health of patients, including their diet and lifestyle, and provide appropriate recommendations for maintaining oral health
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories, diagnostic images, and treatment plans
- Communicate with dentists and other members of the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Illinois
