Job Description
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are a well-established private practice in Chiefland Florida.
We are looking for a full time Hygienist for Monday through Thursdays 9 -5.
License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist
CPR Certified is required
Responsibilities
- Educate and discuss patient treatment, and present treatment plans
- Develop and maintain hygiene schedule
- Accurately and efficiently chart existing and future treatment needs
- Follow office procedures for patient referrals
- Work as a team to comply with OSHA and HIPPA guidelines
- Sterilize and maintain hygiene instrumentation and equipment
- Obtain patient medical history and vitals
- Obtain series of needs intra/extra-oral photos and/or radiographs
- Document clear and thorough clinical notes
- Bring to the immediate attention of the dentist any suspected lesion in the mouth or on the teeth.
